It became Shimo: the same footprint, rebuilt as tempered glass, its feel handed from the factory to the owner.

The AEPERION Shimo-Quartz Glasspad is a chemically tempered glass surface: a micro-etched frost texture under the Crystal Veil layer, with the character print sealed beneath the glass where wear cannot reach it. Smooth is the priority. Game longer without fatigue.

Thinner than the cloth it descends from — 2.1 mm against 3.0 — and the first Aeperion surface whose feel is set by the owner rather than the factory.

Printed beneath, not on.

SHIMO 霜しも is printed beneath the glass, not onto it, sealed under the glass where a mouse can never reach her. The surface above takes the wear; the character does not.

The print carries the snowflake and the NO : 0000 mark in its upper corner — part of the artwork, drawn by @cares_atelier. Ownership is recorded by the Steel Key in the Vault, engraved with the Shimo-Quartz character.
